Nightveld is a bullet heaven (a reverse bullet hell) where your only weapon is the light you see with. Widen the beam to spot the swarm coming, or focus it to burn what's close, and go blind everywhere else. Survive to dawn and pick new powers.
Every night is longer and hungrier than the last.
Your beam can either be wide so you can see more of the coming swarms, or narrow to burn a clean lane through, when it's wide your visibility is great but you can barely scratch it, when it's narrow you see less but your attack power is much greater.
Nightveld has many types and classes of enemies. Moths are attracted to your beam, Hunters lunge at you. Murk pools muffle up the view if you stand in them but they can cleared! Every night runs on a timer, until the next night.
